Connerton Medical Center

Land O’ Lakes, Florida 2018 – 2020

This project included the design of a new 26,300 SF medical office building located in Land O’ Lakes, Florida. The project is a conventionally framed building with standing seam metal roof and split face CMU walls. The main 13,300 SF wellness suite is for Connerton Medical Center, which consists of an urgent care facility, physical therapy suite, and chiropractic care. The 2 end suites totaling 13,000 SF are shell spaces to be leased out.

Connerton Medical Center features a large central entry and reception area under a covered drop-off area. The wellness area features a 3,000 SF gym and exercise area, physical therapy bays, a modality bay, and occupational therapy areas. The urgent care area has 6 exam rooms, an X-Ray room, a CT Scan suite, and associated support rooms.

The building is a steel bar joist structure bearing on the CMU walls. The medical office building is an energy-efficient building featuring an R-30 roof and R-19 walls and has generator back-up power.
