Exeter International LEED
Tampa, Florida 2010 – 2011
Exeter International, a high-end travel agency specializing in travel to Eastern Europe and Russia, is a 9,500 SF, 3-story LEED GOLD project in Tampa, Florida. The project achieved LEED GOLD certification in February of 2011. The project features low water use, highly efficient building materials, low energy use, high recycled content products, local materials, highly reflective roofing and site materials, and enhanced day-lighting and views. The project also features photo-voltaics on the roof which provide enough power to meet nearly all of the building’s energy needs.
RSA Architecture provided LEED Consulting services to the architect of record, Urban Studio Architects, completing the LEED submittal. Rich Simmons was the LEED project administrator working on the LEED design submittal while employed at Urban and contracted to complete the LEED construction submittal.
Involvement included the LEED approach, all LEED documentation, construction submittal review, and completion of LEED template documentation. Rich was also the Project Manager for the design and construction phase services while employed at Urban Studio Architects and carried the project from schematic design to project completion.
