C. B. King Federal Courthouse Moisture Protection Repairs

The project included investigation of exterior moisture protection systems to determine source of the leaks in the roofing and masonry wall construction. The investigation unveiled that the through wall flashing was never installed above the windows or the continuous masonry water table, improper copings were installed, and weeps were not installed.
RSA Architecture provided investigation, design, documentation, and construction administration of exterior wall, window, and roof repairs for the C.B. King Federal Courthouse. The design-build project utilized LEED compliant construction. The project included masonry repointing, installation of wall flashings, window repair, roof and coping repair, caulking, installation of new water table banding, new weep installation, and structural improvements.
